Samuel Kane Bowers

Samuel found solace in the simple things; he loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith. Samuel was a loving brother, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed.

Samuel was preceded in death by his father, Burnace Ray Bowers, Sr.; brother, Norman Edward Bowers; sister, Diana Lynn Sebesta; infant sister, Zona Louise Bowers; sister-in-law, Diana Bowers; and brother-in-law, Michael Williams.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Mary Ethel Bowers; four sisters, Correna Bowers, Mary Kay Williams, Lisa Harber, and Karla Hingle & husband Ken; brother, Burnace Ray Bowers, Jr.; special friend, Laura Amos; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday (May 5, 2017) from noon to 2 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother David Dotson officiating.

Committal services will be held on Friday (May 5, 2017) at 3 p.m. in the Garden of Gethsemane at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
