Sandra Odum

Sandra Marlene Napier Odum, age 58, entered into rest Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was born June 18, 1952 in Bristol, TN. To William Bill and Sarah Cross Napier. Sandra was retired from the Kingsport Press with thirty four years of service. She was a member of Orebank Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Larry Odum, two daughters, Melissa Sage and Michelle Stevens, three grandchildren, Alexis Calhoun, Kailyn Stevens, Greyson Stevens, six brothers, Billy Napier, James Napier, Willis Napier, Danny Napier, Lonnie (Gene) Napier, Raymond (Buck) Napier, three sisters, Georgia Oliver, Beulah Napier, Priscilla Good, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services being held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Foster officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Shaffer, Tommy Stevens, Jonathan Sage, Chris Napier, Jeffery Napier, and Rex Napier.
