Born in Damascus,Va, she moved to Blountville, TN at a young age.
Lucy was a lifelong homemaker, dedicated to her husband of 55 years. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bill Snapp, daughter Melissa Snapp Shelby, son Bill Snapp, grandsons Mitchell Snapp (Reagan), Tanner Shelby, And Jacob Shelby, granddaughter Morgan Snapp, great granddaughter Hazel Faye Snapp, sister Mary Lee Delph, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Patsy and Joe Higgins.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Delph and Cora Bell Trent Delph, brothers George Delph, Frank Delph, Pete Delph, Charlie Delph, J.C Delph, Paul Delph, and Albert Delph, sister Ethel Delph.
A burial service will be held at Gunnings Cemetery, Blountville, Tn, August 28 at 11:00am. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery around 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
