Shirley Ann Horne

Shirley Ann Overbay Horne passed away on November 3, 2010 at her home. She was born in Sullivan County on December 19, 1940 to parents Jerry Lott Overbay & Virgie Ellen Snodgrass Overbay. She retired from Rental Uniform Company in 1979.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Denver G. Horne, one sister Pauline Overbay Stump, grandfathers Mark Overbay and George Hutchins, grandmothers Nannie Jane Foulk Overbay and Flora Cole Hutchins.
Survivors include two brothers Thomas L. Overbay and Jimmy R. Snodgrass both of Kingsport, two sisters Mrs. Jay Helen Clemmons, Kingsport and Mrs. James Charlotte Hite, Blountville and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday November 5, 2010 from 6 – 8 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Buddy Dingus officiating.
Graveside services will be Saturday November 6, 2010 at 11:00 am in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
