Slawomir Rog

Slawomir Rog, age 47 of Blountville, entered into eternal life with his Heavenly Father during the afternoon hours of Friday, June 10, 2016. Slawomir was born on September 30, 1968 in Krakow, Poland to Mr. Marion Rog and Mrs. Ela Baranska Rog. On June 29, 2006 Slawomir married his most cherished friend and love of his life, Ms. Elaine Halamik, and after 10 years of a wonderful marriage together, she survives.

Slawomir worked as a Physical Therapist for 20 years; working at Holston Manor the last several years. Slawomir was a man who loved life and he found comedy in almost everything. His comical personality, combined with his positive attitude, was one of his greatest attributes. Slawomir loved the outdoors, hiking, exercising, and shooting his favorite gun, his AR 15. His love for his family and friends was unmeasurable. He was a good husband and father; and he has left his wonderful gift of love, for his family to treasure.

Slawomir is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Rog; one son, Lukasz Rog; his parents, Mr. Marion Rog and Mrs. Ela Baranska Rog of Krakow, Poland; one sister, Malgorzata Stobinska and husband Wojciech of Krakow, Poland; one niece, Iwona Stobinska, and one nephew, Karol Stobinska, of Krakow, Poland.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Wellmont Hospice House, located at 280 Steeles Rd, Bristol, TN 37620, (423) 844-5252.

A private family memorial will be held later.
