

Stella Latture Fogleman, 95, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Fogleman was born on September 17, 1918 in Blountville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Glenn and Earla Pannell Latture. She was a lifelong resident of Blountville and served for 41 years in the Sullivan County School System as an Elementary teacher having spent most of her career at Central Heights Elementary School. Mrs. Fogleman was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, K.G. Fogleman; one sister, Frances Latture Miller; two brothers, French Latture and Ward Latture; and one nephew, Ryland Miller. Mrs. Fogleman is survived by one daughter, Kenna Fogleman; three sister-in-laws, Wanda Shelton, Mary Ann Fogleman and Margaret Fogleman; and seven nieces and nephews, Louise Miller Mann, John Miller, Robert Miller, David Miller, Charles Miller, Howard Miller and Carl Miller. Funeral service for Mrs. Stella Latture Fogleman will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Grover Starnes officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Garden of the Everlasting Life III of East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John, Robert, David, Charles, Howard and Carl Miller, and Cliff Carrico. Honorary pallbearers will be the Fogleman Nieces and Nephews and all the children she taught. The family will receive friends Friday, June 20, 2014 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
