Sylvia Juanita Smith, age 92 of Blountville, was taken up to the glories of Heaven during the evening hours on Monday, April 4, 2016. Sylvia was born to the late William H. Murray and the late Maude Hobbs Murray in Kingsport, TN on December 13, 1923. Sylvia married her best friend and love of her life, Mr. Paul L. She is survived by one son, Jerry Smith and wife Debbie; one granddaughter, Carey Lewis and husband Bob; two great-grandchildren, Marley Lewis and Morgan Lewis; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow immediately after the visitation in the Garden of Devotion at East Lawn Memorial Park with Brother David Dotson officiating.
