Wanda J. Case, age 83, of Blountville, Tennessee returned home on Sunday, October 17, 2021 surrounded by her family, friends, and cats. Wanda was born January 15, 1938 to the late James and Vadney (Adkins) Case. She was an active member of Blountville Christian Church and enjoyed making a joyful noise unto the Lord. She was a beloved mother, momow, sister, aunt, and friend.
Wanda Case is survived and missed by her daughter, Kim Bell (John); grandchildren, Maggie and Justin Bell; sisters, Alaine Shubert and Janet Rachel; and cat, Lucy.
A special thank you to Dr. Jonathan Dixon for caring for Wanda like his own mother and the hospice nurses, Grace, Sarah and Kristi, for making sure she remained comfortable.
The Case family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Tuesday October 19, 2021 at Blountville Christian Church from 5 pm - 7 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm with Dwight Shaffer, Minister and Tom Peters, Minister officiating. Committal Service and interment will take place on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the Garden of Christus in East Lawn Memorial Park beginning at 1 pm.
