Warren Franklin Reynolds, 81, went to his heavenly home April 12, 2018. Born June 4, 1936, Warren grew up in Hiltons, VA, graduating from Hiltons High School. He started work at Foremost Dairy before serving in the Army. Warren retired from Eastman Chemical after 37 years.
Warren loved travelling, old time country music, and watching his birds. He was a member of Euclid Avenue Baptist Church. Warren will long be remembered for his quick wit, gentle spirit, and servant’s heart for others.
He was preceded in death by his parents Maxie and Howard Reynolds; and brother, Hayter. Warren is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Glenna Sexton Reynolds; son, Andy Reynolds (Gina); sister, Peggy Gray (Venis); and special uncle, Calvin Derting, all of Blountville, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Indian Path Medical Center, the Regional Cancer Center, and Amedisys for their expert care.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 17, at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Dr. Allen Roberts. He will be laid to rest in East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Shades of Grace UMC.
