

Apolinar Guerra Lerma, 81, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Falfurrias, Texas on March 31, 1931 to Guadalupe Lerma and Paula Guerra Lerma. He was employed as a foreman for Durden, Fulton and Company until his retirement. He will be missed by all whose heart he touched.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irma Barrera Lerma; and three brothers, Luis Lerma, Leonel Lerma and Guadalupe Lerma Jr.
He is survived by one son, Apolinar Lerma, Jr. (Victoria); three daughters, Norma Castillo (Jose) of San Antonio, Texas, Gracie Gamez (Gonzalo) of Corpus Christi and Nilda Olivarez (Robert) of Bishop, Texas; one brother, Teodoro Lerma of Kingsville; one sister, Dolores De La Paz of Kingsville; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitationwill take placefrom 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St Martin’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Kingsville.
