Barbara Jean Boyd

Barbara Jean Boyd, age 73, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born June 4, 1938 in Louise, Texas to Marvin A. Wolter and Inez Poulson Wolter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Gladys Scotka. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband of 55 years, William B. Boyd of Kingsville; daughter, Kathy Sheeran (Hank) of Midland, Texas; two sons, Bruce Boyd (Donna) of Edmond, Oklahoma and David Boyd (Theresa) of Longview, Washington; sister, Edith Galow (Mason) of Ganado, Texas; two brothers, Vernon Wolter (Nickie) and Truman Wolter (Vada), both of Houston, Texas and Elbert Wolter (Phyllis) of Arizona; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bob Boyd (Rosalyn) of Texas; sister-in-law, Bess Hamlet of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.
