Candida G. Gutierrez Perez

Candida G. Perez, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the age of 76. She was born in Ricardo, Texas to Benito and Maria Gutierrez on October 3, 1935. She spent her time making a home for her family. She was also a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Kingsville.

Candida leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of fifty-two years, Jesus A. Perez; two sons, Jesus (Maria) Perez, Jr. and David G. (Rose) Perez; two daughters, Cindy Perez and Emily Perez all of Kingsville; four brothers: Juan Gutierrez of Kingsville, Domingo Gutierrez, Fransico (Betty) Gutierrez and Beto Gutierrez all of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Luisa Soto and Rosa (Joe) Guerra both of Callallen, Texas; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date. Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
