Charley Jack Collins

Charles “Jack” Collins, a resident of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010. He was 72. Jack was born January 10, 1938 in Russell, Kansas, to Luther and Gertrude Collins. He was a Geologist for 44 years working for Rocky Mountain Energy in the late 1960’s and currently for Mestena Uranium. Jack enjoyed building model trains and airplanes.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Jack leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Alice Collins of Kingsville, Texas; three children, Cindy (John) Cinadr of Moulton, Texas, James Collins and William Collins, both of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren, Mikaela Beard, Charlie Beard and Jack Cinadr all of Moulton, Texas. He is also survived by three sisters, Trudy Williams of Winfield, Kansas, Margaret Coldwater of Hutchinson, Kansas, Patsy Moyer of Deming, New Mexico; and one brother, James Collins of Ellinwood, Kansas.

A Memorial Service will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.
