Dora Elia Garza Martinez

Dora Elia Martinez, age 65, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born January 29, 1946 in Kingsville to Secondino M. Garza and Elisa Jimenez Garza. Mrs. Martinez, a homemaker, was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jose Ramiro (Martha) Garza and Juan Garza, both of Kingsville; two stepsons, Homero (Emma) Martinez and Nicolas (Janie) Martinez, both of Kingsville; one stepdaughter, Irma Gomez of Alice, Texas; brother, Severiano Garza of Seminole, Texas; two sisters, Petra (Gilberto) Rivera of Falfurrias, Texas and Hilda Dalia (Roel) Rivera of Kingsville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
