Eva Garcia Hernandez

Eva Garcia Hernandez of Driscoll, Texas, passed away on Monday, January, 28, 2013, at the age of 86. Eva was born on January 16, 1927, in Raymondville, Texas, to Florencio and Manuela Garcia. Eva spent her time making her house a home for her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Eva will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo H. Hernandez, Sr., her parents and her brother-in-law, Adolfo Ramirez, Sr.

Eva is survived by her son, Ricardo ( Mercedes) Hernandez Jr. of Kingsville, Texas; sisters, Petra Lerma Ramirez of Raymondville and Esmeralda (Demencio) Bueno of Kingsville; brothers, Juan (Linda) Lerma, Sr. of Sarita, Texas, and Roberto (Elena) Lerma, Sr. of Navesota, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 2:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary of Kingsville, Texas.
