George Willie W. Henderson

George “Willie” W. Henderson, age 81, a resident of Houston, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born on February 8, 1929 in Kingsville to Alex T. Henderson and Sarah Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a floor contractor until his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Linda Henderson.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife, Daisy Henderson of Houston; two sons, James Henderson and Oscar Henderson, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; and several step-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Edwin Rowley officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
