

Mrs. Gloria Ochoa Perez, age 66, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born December 9, 1945 in Corpus Christi to Miguel Ruiz Ochoa and Hortensia Rangel Ochoa. Mrs. Perez was employed as a Home Economics teacher for the Laredo and Kingsville Independent School Districts until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Spanish Congregation, Kingsville.
She is survived by her husband, Francisco Perez of Kingsville; two sons, Jesus Miguel Juarez and Daniel Rene Juarez, both of Austin, Texas; two stepdaughters, Marissa Perez of Dallas, Texas and Angelica Cummings (Kevin) of Richardson, Texas; one stepson, Adrian Perez (Sarah) of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Roberto Ochoa (Rose) of San Antonio, Texas and Jose Ochoa (Maria) of Kingsville; one sister, Emma O. Ramos (Manuel) of Kingsville; and one granddaughter, Mileena Juarez.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a wake service to be held that evening at 8:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Elder Marcelino Zapata officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Robert Ochoa, Jose Ochoa, Miguel Juarez, Daniel Juarez, Adrian Perez and Rene Perez.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
