H. Colleen Rabalais

H.Colleen Rabalais, age 82, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born July 23, 1930 in Wichita, Kansas to Frank H. Schmidt and Hazel Colleen Moore Schmidt. Mrs. Rabalais, a homemaker, was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She loved fishing, gardening, reading and crocheting.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Samuel James Rabalais; daughter, Debra Rabalais; parents; and her brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Rabalais is survived by her children, Keith Rabalais (Donna) of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Kenneth Rabalais (Cindy) of Lagarto, Texas, Cathy Rabalais (Harold) of Arrowhead, Texas and Bruce Rabalais (Mary) of Lockhart, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will take place Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 521 East Doddridge Street, Kingsville, with Rev. Allan C. Eckert officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
