

Isabel M. Balboa Villarreal, age 89, a longtime resident of Bishop, Texas passed away, Monday, February 18, 2013 in Bishop. She was born June 2, 1923 in Houston, Texas. She was a faithful member of Primera Iglesia Bautista, Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Aguilar Villarreal; parents; two sisters, Felicitas Balboa Vega and Trinidad Ybarra; and two brothers, Guadalupe Balboa and Isidro Galindo.
Mrs. Villarreal is survived by six daughters, Yolanda Cavazos (Guadalupe) of Bishop and Janie Villarreal of Kingsville, Rosita Flores and Estella Mendez (Rigoberto, Sr.), both of Ricardo, Texas, Maria Irene Paree (Alberto, Sr.) of Houston, Texas and Julia V. Rivera (Victor) of Brownsville, Texas; five brothers, Jose Hernandez and Adan Hernandez, both of Freeport, Texas, Carlos Balboa (Teresa) of Chicago, Illinois, Juan Balboa (Colette) of New Brighton, Minnesota, and Nicky Balboa of Bishop; five sisters, Maria Balboa of Chicago, Illinois, Delfina Cantu of San Antonio, Texas, Josie Hinojosa (Rene) of Kingsville, Texas, Berta Navarro (Salvador) of Hammond, Indiana, and Lola Ramirez of Houston, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Benito Villarreal officiating. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 405 North Avenue F, Bishop, with Rev. David Garcia and Rev. Benito Villarreal officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop at the Evangelico Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
