Juanita Marie Eaton McDowell

Juanita Marie McDowell, age 83, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on March 28, 1927 in Nocona, Texas to Earl Eaton and Ruth Kaufman Eaton. Mrs. McDowell was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death on July 2, 2010 by her beloved husband of 64 years, Dodd McDowell.

Mrs. McDowell is survived by two sons, David McDowell of Angleton, Texas and Eddie Earl (Nancy) McDowell of Houston, Texas; brother, John (Wanda) Moore of Eureka, Kansas; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with David McDowell officiating. In the same matter as her husband, Mrs. McDowell’s wish was to be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kingsville Area Little League or to a charity of one’s choice.
