Lottie Peace

Lottie Peace, age 87, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former resident of Omaha, Texas passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 in Kingsville. Mrs. Peace was born on November 19, 1923 in Omaha, Texas to William Wallace Hawkins and Bama Motley Hawkins. Mrs. Peace, a homemaker, was a member of First Christian Church, Kingsville.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Peace.

Mrs. Peace is survived by two daughters, Billie (Larry) Lee of Kingsville and Bamma Motley of Omaha, Texas; two sons, James (Linda) Peace of Omaha, Texas and Jimmy Lynn (Filimaua) Peace of Tatum, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Omaha Cemetery, Omaha, Texas.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements will be entrusted to Harrison Funeral Home, 500 W.L. Doc Dodson Blvd., Naples, Texas 75568.

Local arrangements are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
