Manuel Hernandez Reyes Jr.

Manuel Hernandez Reyes, Jr. of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the age of 77. He was born on November 21, 1934, in Ricardo, Texas, to Manuel and Carlota Hernandez Reyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Joe Villarreal.

Manuel will always be loved and remembered by his three daughters: Noemi (Raul) Maldonado of San Diego, Texas, Sylvia Ruiz of Floydada, Texas, and Norma (Charlie) Avelar of Kingsville; two sons, Manuel

(Alejandra) Reyes III of Floydada and Arturo (Anna) Reyes of Wolfforth, Texas; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters: Herminia Villarreal of Kingsville, Trinidad Ray of Portland, Oregon, and Baudelia Rivera of Chicago, Illinois.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, October 5, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
