Maria G. Pena

Maria Gloria Pena, of Driscoll, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2011, at the age of 63. She was born in Banquette, Texas, on April 26, 1948, to Theodoro and Eloisa Garcia. Maria was a homemaker and a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of twenty-seven years, Pedro M. Pena.

Maria is survived by her children: JoAnn (Jose Luis) Rea of Conroe, Texas, Mary Lou (David) Fields of Land O Lakes, Texas, Raymond Gonzalez of Driscoll, Bonnie (Roel) Bueno of Kingsville, Texas and Ray Steven (Kim) Gonzalez of Tomball, Texas; three brothers: Candelorio Garcia of Dallas, Texas, Gregorio Garcia and Roberto (Minga) Garcia both of Driscoll; three sisters: Angelita Rivera, Dalia Salinas both of Driscoll and Delia (Monciese) Perez of Waxahachie, Texas; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte, Piper Mortuary Chapel in Kingsville. Funeral Services will be Sunday afternoon, July 3, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. also at Turcotte, Piper Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Luna De La Luz Cemetery in Driscoll.
