Mary Ann Garza

Mary Ann Garza, age 52, a resident of Driscoll, Texas passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born April 5, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jose Aguilar Jr. and Tomasa Delgado Aguilar. She was a 1978 graduate of Bishop High School. In her early years, she was employed for Bahn’s Grocery Store, Driscoll. Mary Ann was employed for 30 years as a secretary for the Driscoll I.S.D. where she impacted many lives and left a legacy that will not be forgotten. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She was a blessing to all whose lives she touched.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jesus C. Garza Jr. of Driscoll; one daughter, Jessica Reinhardt (Richard) of Garland, Texas; one son, Jesus Garza III of Driscoll; father, Jose Aguilar Jr. (Lupe) of Banquete, Texas; mother, Tomasa Aguilar of Driscoll; two sisters, Sally Barrera (Noe) of Bishop, Texas and Terry Kimball (Jerry) of San Antonio, Texas; one granddaughter, Riley Ann Reinhardt of Garland; and a large extended family that loves her.

Visitation will take place after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church, 1120 South Eighth Street, Kingsville. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be B.J. Barrera, Matt Dimas, Ricky Zapata, Robby Beltran, Giovanni Garza and Nocky Garza Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
