

Mrs. Mary E. “Sue” Goff, age 64, a resident of Killeen, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at her residence in Killeen. She was born on August 30, 1946 in New Boston, Illinois to Harold E. and W. Mae (Brown) Shotwell. Sue was employed as an overnight stocker for Walmart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Furman David Goff; and parents.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Goff and his wife Sandy of Killeen and Scott Canfield and his wife Samantha of Waskom, Texas; daughter, Brenda Freeman and fiancé William Townsend of Portland, Texas; seven grandchildren, Mikkayla and Hannah Goff, Blake Michels, Heather Byrd and husband Michael, Haley Freeman and Boston and Blakely Canfield; and great-grandson, Adrian Byrd.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Scott & White Hospice Program, 2401 South 31st Street, Temple, Texas 76508.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville. Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rudy A. Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Blake Michels, Harold Goff, Cory Richey, Scott Canfield, Michael Byrd and William Townsend.
