Richard Shore

 Richard Shore, age 78, a resident of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born August 26, 1934 in Casey, Illinois to Dick E. Shore and Maxine June Schourthous Shore. Richard, a U.S. Navy veteran, was employed at the Charleston Naval Shipyard until his retirement in 1990. After his retirement, he enjoyed travelling. He was an avid NARCAR fan.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Wade Shore; and son, Richard Ralph Shore; and parents.  Mr. Shore is survived by three daughters, Joy S. Braswell (Elliott) of Kingsville, Texas, Candy Pucino (Gil) and Jillie Filipiak, both of Charleston, South Carolina; one sister, Donna McCoy (Guy) of Casey, Illinois; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  A private memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.  “He will be greatly missed and loved always.”  Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
