Samuel Bazan Gonzalez Jr.

Samuel B. Gonzalez Jr., a resident of Houston Texas passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011. He was born in Kingsville, Texas on Sept. 28, 1944. He was a retired Postal Service Expediter after working for 43 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elida Gonzalez; his mother, Petra Gomez of Kingsville; daughters, Melissa A. Galicia of Rosenburg, Texas and Trisia Northcutt of Baytown, Texas; one son, Sammy B. Gonzalez III of Santa Fe, Texas; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home Champions, Houston, Texas on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2011 at Turcotte - Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville. Burial with military honors will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
