

Shirley Marwitz Zoch, age 76, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born December 9, 1936 in Brownwood, Texas to Walter John Marwitz and Dora Augusta Nauert. Mrs. Zoch was a volunteer Pink Lady at Christus Spohn Hospital-Kleberg. She was a member of the Christus Spohn Hospital-Kleberg Ladies Auxillary, a foster parent in the early 70’s and a teacher/coach aide at the Bishop Consolidated School District. She enjoyed helping out in the community by being involved in 4-H as a club assistant, the Bluebirds, women softball and bowling league. Shirley was a very special lady, loving mom, nana and great grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was very straight forward and to the point. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law Crystal Zoch. Mrs. Zoch is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Rogers Zoch of Kingsville; two sons, Ronnie (Rana) Zoch of Stephenville, Texas and Jamie Zoch of McGregor, Texas; two daughters, LaDonna Bishop and Cheree (Greg) Bade both of Bishop one brother, Truman (Deannie) Marwitz and one sister, Anita (W.J.) Hopper both of Priddy, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Hayden (Jessika) Bade, Emilee Bade, Danielle Bade, Jeremy (Samantha) Bishop, Jonathon Bishop, Michael Bishop, Justin Zoch, Brady Zoch, Allyson Zoch, Kyra Modawell, Leah Modawell and Christa Modawell; and five great-grandchildren, Aubri Bade, Kylie Bade, Halle Bade, Dakotah Bade and Jaden Bishop.
Visitation will take place Monday, February 11, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte- Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 801 E. Main St., Bishop, with the Rev. Matthew T. Ulmer officiating. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park on N. FM 1889, Robstown, Texas.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shirley Zoch Memorial Fund c/o St. Paul Lutheran Church, 801 E. Main St., Bishop, Texas 78343.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
