

Stacey Ann Van Horn, age 34, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 4, 2011. She was born March 3, 1977 in Kingsville, Texas. She spent her early years in Kingsville and Spring, Texas. Stacey was a proud Javalina graduating Cum Laude from Texas A&I University with a degree in English and Political Science. She relocated to Cyress, Texas after college where she was a successful insurance agent. She was an avid reader, a huntress, a snow boarder and a saltwater angler who loved spending time at her second home in Rockport, Texas.
Stacey was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jerry Don Wilson; and her paternal step-grandfather, Richard Van Horn.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Michelle Wilson Foster (Wayne); father, Mark Elliot Mora; three brothers, Phillip Van Horn (Jenny), Stephen Van Horn and Dylan Mora; maternal grandparents, Henry and Martha Grebe; paternal step-grandmother, Joanne Van Horn; aunts and uncles, Debbie Mahan (Larry) and Ricky Wilson (Darla); and other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stacey was fondly called “Coco” by all who knew and loved her. She will also be missed by her companion - Jack, the cat. Stacey’s wit and sense of humor was truly an inspiration to us all and she will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gary Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
At the conclusion of the graveside service, everyone is invited to a gathering at the home of Dianne and Roy Medina, 715 West Nettie, Kingsville, Texas.
