It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Bentley Michael Andrew LaMontagne, at the age of 14 years.
Bentley was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing or hunting, happiest when surrounded by nature. Whether it was early mornings on the water, casting a line with patience and excitement, or time spent out hunting, Bentley truly felt at home outside. He had a natural appreciation for the land and a deep respect for the traditions that came with it.
Bentley also loved working on the farm, where his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a hand shone through. He took pride in being involved, learning new skills and spending time doing what he loved alongside those closest to him. No task was too big or small - he was always ready to help with a smile.
He had a passion for riding his dirt bike, where his sense of adventure and freedom truly shined. He also loved playing baseball, bringing energy, determination and joy to the game and his teammates.
Above all, Bentley will be remembered for his constant smile - the kind that could light up a room and the happiness he carried with him every day. He had a way of lifting others up, spreading laughter and warmth wherever he went. His kind heart and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his parents, family members, friends, teammates and community.
A celebration of life will be held in the Kipling Community Centre, Kipling, Saskatchewan on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
We welcome everyone who wants to attend and show their support. We also welcome his friends with their bikes and as many bikes as possible, for one last rev in Bentley’s honor.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love and happiness he gave will remain in our hearts forever.
Ride in peace, Bentley.
