Bryan was born to Geza and Sarah Bernat on April 22, 1946 on a farm south of Kipling, SK. He learned the value of hard work as he left school and farmed with his dad and brother Bob. Bryan loved farming. In 2000 Bryan met his wife Karen and they married in 2003. They continued to farm until he retired in 2017. After he retired there was not anything he liked more than driving out in the country in spring, summer
and fall "crop checking". He continued to have a great interest in the changing farming practices and the changes in farm equipment that came about because of these changes.
Bryan loved animals - especially cats. He cared for many furry friends over the years.
Bryan was predeceased by his parents Geza and Sarah Bernat; his older brother Robert (Bob), as well as his special furry friend 'Tiger".
Bryan is survived by his wife Karen (Radbourne); sister-in-law Judy Bernat; nieces: Tracy (Glenn) Hofos and their son Coty and Karen (Scott) Kitz and their children Jackson and Alexandra; brother-in-law Glen (Wanda) Radbourne and their children: Carrie, Laurel, Courtney, Chantel and Brooke and their families and of course his special cat Missy.
In keeping with Bryan’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family wants to thank all the staff of the Kipling Integrated Health Centre for all their efforts in making Bryan comfortable. We would also like to thank all our friends for the community support that helped us during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society, 79 Armour Road, R.M. of Sherwood, SK S4K OA8 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
