Emilia Margaret Gerein

Emilia was predeceased by her husband Albert; parents Magdalena and Jacob Zimmerman; brothers: Joseph, Anton “Tony”, Bernard “Ben” and sister Loretta Dormuth.

She is survived by her sister Theresa (Edwin) Fuchs; sons Larry and Lenard (Brenda); daughters Barbara (Ernie) Prokop and Donna (Brian) Matity; grandchildren: Michael, Peter, Angela (Michael), Steven, Amy, Justin, Allison, Jessica, Tanner (Cortney) and Brendan (Carli); great-grandchildren: Josh, Aurora, Aztrid, Zenia, Zoey and Michael.

The funeral mass was celebrated in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Glenavon, SK on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Francis (Prince) Kurisinkal . The interment was held in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Montmartre Health Centre for their professionalism and compassion shown to Mom.
