Jim was predeceased by his parents Helmut and Evelyn Ficken and his son Derek.
He is survived by his wife Terry Ficken, sons; Jesse (Angela) Ficken, Adam Ficken, stepson; Anthony (Keree) Smalley, stepdaughter; Jolene (Corey) McDonald, seven grandchildren and brother Paul Ficken.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Kipling Cemetery, Kipling, SK.
