Alan will truly be missed as a friend, congregation member and leader and as a member of the community.  In spite of how he felt he was always kind, giving, gentle and concerned about others.     Dorothy and Bernie

Alan was to us a sweet, kind human being, always helpful and concerned about others. A real mensch, Alan will be sorely missed; he embodied the welcoming spirit of Congregation Shalom Aleichem. Our hearts and prayers are with Grace and their family. Gail and Michael Blatt, Orlando, Florida.

Alan was a kind, patient, and generous person. It was truly a blessing and an honor to have known him.

Alan and I met by accident.  He and Grace became my family here in Florida.  We both went thru lots.  There is nothing we wouldn't do for one another.  He will be deeply missed.

Alan had a heart the size of Texas!  He was a mentor and a friend and will be missed.  I owe a lot to him during my career with SBA and appreciate all the help and coaching and training he provided.  Alan, you will always be loved and remembered.

I worked with Alan at SBA for many years; we had so many fun times in the region and district offices.  My husband knew Alan in Vietnam, and they were able to see each other again at a party many years later - small world.  

Grace, Alan was a good friend to both of us.  May you find comfort in your memories.

I will never forget my dear and devoted friend. He was a wonderful and caring friend, associate and co-worker. My life was truly blessed in knowing Alan. He is now in God's care.

Alan was a wonderful SBA friend & mentor to me during my early years with the agency. I thought of him often after he retired. May God Bless you and your family during your time of loss.

I worked with Alan for approximately 10 years in the Dallas Regional Office.  From the day I met him he was the kindest and most thoughtful person.  We had approximately 80 some odd people then in the Region; but his kindness and generosity stood out.  Alan, you will be missed; you were a good Friend to me and many others.  You are now the Angel that watches over us and we thank you for being a part of our lives.  It was a privilege to have known you My Friend.  May God Bless Your Family Always and give them strength in the days ahead; and the Faith that they will see you again when our Savior returns!
