Angel Luis Vélez Seijo, 56, formerly of Kissimmee, Florida passed away June 20, 2011 in Chicago, IL at St. Mary's Hospital. Angel worked for the Kissimmee Utility Authority for part of the 80s and 90s. He was a star basketball player during his high school years in Puerto Rico. Angel's favorite pass times included fishing, camping, and watching baseball. He was a ham radio aficionado for many years. He is remembered by all who knew him for his sense of humor and helpful nature. He is the son of Angel Vélez Sr. and Gloria Esther Seijo. Brother of Hugo Vélez. All three deceaced. He is survived by his daughter Glorily Vélez of Chicago, Il. She would like to thank the nurses and doctors in the ICU of St. Mary's Hospital in Chicago for the kind and loving compassion the showed Angel during his last few days. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Grissom Funeral Home with a memorial services held at 7:00 P.M., in the Grissom Chapel.
