

Bernadette Phillips, 65, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 31, 1946, to Louis and Josephine Pfeil. She moved to Florida in 1989 and was ready to retire from K-Mart in Kissimmee, where she had worked for the last 18 years. She enjoyed playing Mahjong and caring for her two dogs, Cookie and Missy.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George Pfeil.
She was survived by her sisters, Louise Dunn, Patricia Ferman, Mary Downs, and Gerard (and his wife, Lori) Pfeil. She is also survived by her daughter Susan (and her fiancé, Michael) Eagles of Foxboro, Massachusetts, and her sons, Herbert Smedberg Jr., of Orlando; Steven Smedberg, of Taunton, Massachusetts; David (and his wife, Pam) Smedberg, of Lakeville, Massachusetts; and Joseph Smedberg, of Kissimmee. She also has nine grandchildren: Jessica, Courtney, Samantha, Steven, Jr., Anna, April, Kenneth, Justin, and Randy; and several nieces and nephews, including Judy and Jody
