She is survived by her children, Rebecca LaReau of Trinity, Florida (Husband Marc Taslit), Elisabeth Jochum of St. Cloud, Florida (husband Mike Jochum), Daniel Redman of Malvern, PA (wife Fenicia Redman), and Abigail Redman of Nashville, TN (husband Andrew Holm-Hanson). She is also survived by her sister Janice Jewell of Stevensville, Michigan. She was a loving grandmother to Kerrie Jochum Zazzarino, Seth Jochum, and Caleb Redman.
She married Jerry Redman of Saint Joseph, Michigan, who predeceased Carole in December of 2014. She is also predeceased by her twin brother Kenneth Bodtke of Niles, Michigan.
Carole was a follower of Jesus who volunteered countless hours for her church, teaching Sunday school, teaching after-school Bible clubs, and working as a volunteer for Pioneers missions agency on their international handicraft team known as Latitudes.
A family memorial will be held in Stevensville, Michigan on Friday, July 25, followed by a burial in Saint Joseph, Michigan on Sunday, July 27.
