Dean Scott Cooper, 81, of Otto, North Carolina, passed away on October 21, 2025. Born to Georgia Clay Willis and Robert Andrew Cooper on the 10th day of May, 1944 in the city of McAllen, Hidalgo County, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force, where his service took him overseas to Vietnam. After retiring from the military, he worked for Southern Wine & Spirits for over 25 years and traveled all throughout the State of Florida making many, many friends along the way.
He is preceded in death by both his mother, Georgia Clay Willis and his father, Robert Andrew Cooper. He is survived by his two sons Dane Cooper and Jason Scott Cooper (and daughter-in-law Maryjane Cooper), and his daughter Maryl-lyn Cooper Guzzetti (and son-in-law Kenneth Guzzetti). He also leaves behind five grandchildren Gage Cooper, Anjelina Aguayo, Robert Stage-Cooper, Giana Cruz, and Charlize Cooper.
Dean's loving spirit along with the memories he leaves behind will live on in all those who knew and loved him.
