Elivia Gartrell Eberhardt, , 84, born in Miami, Florida on November 25, 1926, passed away peacefully on October 27,2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Fannie Bell Gartrell, Sr., husband Kenneth Eberhardt, daughter Kendra Eberhardt Fortune, brother Woodfrin Gartrell, sister Frances Hawkins Brown.
Elivia is survived by granddaughter, Kimberly Diane Fortune, son-in-law Ed Fortune, her brother Joe B. (his wife Betty) Gartell, Jr. Nephew Joe B. (his wife Mildred) Gartrell, IV, grand niece Chelsea Frances Gartrell, grand niece Jamie Hawkins Mazursky and her sons Griffin, Douglas (Jessica), Gilbert (Debbie,) 2 grandchildren, step-nephew Stephen W. Barto, Sr., nieces Nancy (her husband Don) Jenkins and Barbara Smith, grand-nieces Donna Gonzales and Denice Jenkins-Hulett.
Interment will be at the Lakeview Memory Gardens in Avon Park, Florida. Arrangements are being made by Grissom Funeral Home in Kissimmee, Florida.
