Eloise Ruenell Fawcett

Ruenell graduated from Summerlin Institute in Bartow, Florida in 1949 and then married Charles A. Fawcett on October 14, 1950. She had various bookkeeping and office positions, then worked for the Osceola County School System for 25 years and another 25 years with North Kissimmee Christian School.

Ruenell said that she had a blessed life. Blessed with Christian parents and grandparents. Blessed to meet Charles Fawcett when she was nineteen years old. Blessed with four children, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Ruenell claimed never to have worked a day in her life because she spent most of her working life working with children. She was happy to share her faith with anyone and was most passionate about church, reading, yard sales and her precious family.

She is survived by Charles T. Fawcett (Debbie); Kathleen L. Fawcett; Karen Gardner; Karla B. Lambert (Hank); Thomas Aaron Fawcett; Jeremy Gardner (Taylor); Jessica Gardner; Amy Kinsey (Kyle); Christie Wood (Charlie); Alysia O'Dell (Jeff); her brother, Williard Roberts (Rima) and her sister-in-law, Jane Roberts.

Ruenell is preceded in death by her parents Gaston and Ethel Roberts and her brother, James Roberts.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Wildwood Cemetery at 1099 S. Woodlawn Avenue in Bartow, Florida, 33830.
