Gary Arnaldo Samuel

After attending Samuel Gompers High School in The Bronx and in the year of 1974, Gary enlisted in the US Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1978. Years later, Gary then went on to take a full time job with the Metropolitan Transit Authority and retired after 26 years of Service. During that time, he pursued his faith in Islam.

To lovingly cherish his memory, he leaves his daughter: Grace Elizabeth Samuel, and his daughter's Mother, Valerie Bowman. His siblings: Eberth Samuel Jr, and his wife Donnell Samuel, Michael Samuel and Carmen Martinez, Rodney Samuel and his wife Sharon Samuel, Denise Samuel Wiggins and her husband Phillip Wiggins, Darryl Samuel, Wandra Samuel and Renwick Samuel. He was preceded in death by his youngest sister, Okeda Samuel.

Gary is also survived by a host of In-Laws, Nephews, Nieces, family members and dear friends.
