George served in the United States Air Force for 25 years and U. S. Immigration for 10 years before he retired.
He always enjoyed watching television and movies, mostly comedies due to his great sense of humor. He enjoyed making everyone laugh and smile, and succeeded to do so every day of his life. George and his wife, Dianne, enjoyed going on cruises and traveling, they did so often and just recently came back from one. George also loved to play card games, such as poker, and taught all of his children and his granddaughter when they were young. George enjoyed singing, and has been singing all his life. He used to sing in a doo-wop group when he was a teenager, and just recently, he sang karaoke at his retirement community, Good Samaritan. He loved to line dance and sing every Saturday at the community's dance with all his good friends there at Good Samaritan, especially songs by the king, Elvis. This past Halloween, George and his wife Dianne dressed up as Sonny and Cher and sang karaoke together. It was a sight to see, and everyone loved it.
