Oh, Hazel, this is very late but I just found this site and had to tell you how lucky I am to have known you for so many years when we worked together at Westvaco in NYC and then in Richmond, VA.  I am so lucky to have known you.  My deepest sympathy to your loving family.

Hazel  no matter how much time and how many miles were between you was a friend never farther away than needing her could reach waiting  with open arms. You meet people who forget you. You forget people you meet. But sometimes you meet those people you can't forget. Like Hazel Edwards someone who understands your past, believes in your future, helps you up when you're down, accepts you just the way you are. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same.
Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.Hazel Edwards will never be forgotten.

Hazel Edwards (known to me as Grandma Hazel) was a co-worker and friend of my mother's.  She gave me a doll I affectionately named after her "Hazel" 15 years ago.  I still have it today and I plan to pass it to my daughter and tell her all about Grandma Hazel Edwards

Hazel was a wonderful and caring lady. May she Rest in Peace. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Hazel will be greatly missed.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Hazel was a wise woman and a straight-shooter.  I always enjoyed visiting her in her office and working out business problems together.  I respected her intelligence and her integrity.  I look forward to seeing you again, Hazel--all in God's time. Vaya con Dios!

Hazel was my supervisor and friend. At Westvaco.  we lunch together everyday ,when we were not in foremost shopping and looking  around. I couldn't have met a kinder or sweeter, loveing person. I was blessed to have her in my life .Hazel will be greatley missed.

Words can never express the sadness that I feel; I've lost a part of my heart and soul but heaven has gained an angel. Everyone that knows me knows my Hazel as she was a big part of my life. All though I must go on, I will always hold her dear in my heart. There wasn't a month to go by that we didn't talk and that will be so hard for me to deal with. The great thing is that she knew I loved her as my friend, my mother...and I knew she loved me. Loving Hazel forever,

I worked with Hazel at Westvaco at the Boulders Office Complex after she moved from the New York office. Hazel was intelligent, kind, and always smiling. Hazel was always a great mentor to all the 'young folks' there. Hazel will be missed by the many friends she made in her lifetime. The Lord has gained an angel and we have lost an exceptional person.

Hazel was my "boss" on my first audit assignment at Westvaco  - too many years ago to remember.  i loved working with her then and especially appreciated her friendship here in richmond.  whenever i was having a bad day i could find refuge in her office and she would make me laugh.  she was a great observer of human behavior and could tell a good story.  i have missed her since she moved to florida but am happy to know that she found good friends there.

“Eddie” was my buddy.  She was a kind sincere, tell-it-like-it-was, person.  She took me under her wing 24 years ago at Westvaco Corporation in NYC and we became great friends. We both relocated to Richmond with the company and I became a resident in her Woodlake Townhouse until I found and purchased my house. We shopped together but she returned items more than me!  We talked basketball and much, much more.  I will truly miss my “Eddie”. I loved her but God loved her more.  Rest in peace Eddie.
