I attended Harding High School with Izzy. I always remembered him because he was such a gentleman.He was kind to everyone and was always ready with a big smile. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his wife and lovely family.

Hello Edmee,

I am so sorry to hear about Izzy's passing.  I expect you do not remember me but I lived next door to Izzy, his brother and their very nice grandparents on Boston Avenue.  I was the oldest of three boys and graduated Harding in '64.  I still remember your wedding and the very sad funeral when Izzy's grandfather passed.  His grandmother was so heartbroken that day.

I remember your and his last year in school and how much he was in love with you.  I guess we were all a little wild back then but you sure tamed him!  Typical as boys, we all talked about the girls who had been or would be (in our dreams)  our "conquests" but you sure put a stop to that for Izzy!  I think you must have changed him from the first moment he met you.  I remember you were all he could talk about that year.

It's been a long time since those days but they and my memories of Izzy are and will always be with me and, I think, I am a better person for having known him.

A year after you married, I took Leslie Cambria, Izzy's cousin, to the Harding Prom.  I saw her only once after that when I was home on leave from the Army in 1972.  I often wonder about what became of her.

I hope you are well and that your life will continue on with many blessings to come in your family.

To the sweet Flores Family - my love and prayers on this huge loss in your life.  Whenever I think of Izzy, I am compelled to just smile.  He always brought the "happy" out in every situation.  What a life gift!  Such a kind and gentle heart wrapped up in that body of his.  Ivette, Giselle and Joel....what a dad you were blessed to have.  With all my heart, I believe the confident relationship you all have with God is due to the example you have learned from your earthly "daddy".  I can't help but think there is an awful lot of laughing going on in heaven right now because Izzy is there. I look forward to joinging in on that heavenly party!

Edmee, Izzy was just a wonderful man of God.  Chetta and I will sorely miss him and his humor.  He was a special friend and a giver of himself. It has been many years since you left our office to find a new doctor in Florida, but I will always remember the silly talks (laughs really) Izzy and I had anytime he was in the office. His smile lit up the world.  You and I would then laugh at how he "ok'd us".  Such a beautiful couple. How he loved his children. I am heartbroken for your loss. My memories of Uncle Izzy go way back to when I was a little girl--him ringing the bell on his ice cream truck at Grandma's and me running down the stairs to get a huge soft vanilla cone, playing Gin Rummy with him (he always held his cards), him quizzing me on music, and, of course, all the teasing.  He didn't play favorites, but I always felt he held a special place in his big heart just for me.  David was impressed by Uncle Izzy's constant sense of humor and enjoyed talking golf and Yankees with him.  My own children have fond memories of him and were heartbroken to hear of his passing.  Uncle Izzy will be sorely missed--but forever in our hearts.  Our love and deepest sympathy to all those who knew him and couldn't help but love him.

Izzy was my lifetime partner of 47 yrs.  He took good care of me. We enjoyed laughing together, and at each other. He was a big jokster and made me laugh at lot.  I have so many loving memories of him!  His children and I were his life; he adored them as well as our seven grandchildren.  He loved our daughter-in-law and our son-in-laws very much. Izzy loved to play canasta and dominoes at Solivita and had many friends!! He loved church, our Sunday School class and the many extended family and friends.  He truly enjoyed his last 8 yrs. of his life living in Central Florida and in our coummunity of Solivita. But most important he loved our Savior! Although Izzy endured 26 long yrs. of health issues he not once complained why this was happening to him.  He said he was in God's will and trusted God to the very end.   I miss him so much already, but I know I will see him again because God has promised ths in His Word!  Izzy, is not goodbye, but so long!  Until God unites us again...  With love forever, Edmee
