Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Farmer, age 76, passed away on August 13, 2018 in Kissimmee, Florida. She was born on April 1, 1942 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Roland Farmer and Anna Marie Geiss. Jackie is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Dennis John Farmer as well as numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her children Mark Farmer, Dennis Farmer, Scott Farmer, Michele Berry and Brian Farmer, her siblings Rita Oster, Roland Oster, John Oster and Heidi Shivchy (John) as well as her grandchildren Heather Schaefer (Dalen), Erika Berry, Crissy Berry, Juliette Palazzo, Scott Farmer Jr., Sean Farmer and great-granddaughter Annabell Berry.
Jackie was a woman of many traits. For most of her career she worked as an electrician and mechanic for Boeing, constructing wings and running emergency lights. To those who worked with her, she was known as "Rosie the Rivetter", for her strong work ethic as well as for the rivets she installed on the wings. In her spare time Jackie enjoyed quilting, sewing, going on trips, shop hops and fabric shopping. She loved animals, helping others and above all, her family.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Grissom Funeral Home in Kissimmee, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at gofundme.com.
