Janet was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 4, 1942.
She graduated from Upper Dublin HIgh School in Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania in 1960.
Janet and her family moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1977 where she got very involved in the school system in Osceola County; she drove a school bus, substitute taught, chaperoned many school outings and worked as a truant officer at Osceola High School.
Once her children were grown, Janet was the marketing director for Fun 'N Wheels, owned a mobile home park in Intercession City and had her own antique/collectibles store in Plant City, Florida.
She loved going to auctions and garage sales. Her favorite place to visit was Hawaii.
Janet had a HUGE heart and was always ready and willing to help others. If you had a question of what energy looked like, you just had to look at Janet. She was always going! Healthy until her late 70's, most people who knew her would comment that she exhausted them just by watching her! She didn't know the word "slow".
She is survived by her two brothers, John Stuart and Rich Stuart; her three children, Sheryl Clark, Marsha Groome, Eric Groome; daughter-in-law, Crystal Groome; as well as her one granddaughter, Malia Groome.
