Jeffrey proudly served in the United States Army in the late 70's and early 80's before having several careers, including working as and oil field driller, a long distance truck driver, and a tow truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joanne Hayes; his children, Amanda Vandusen (Joey), and Wayne Alexander Hayes; as well as two step-sons, Jared Lee Choplin, and Derek Alan Choplin; and one step-daughter, Christina; six grandchildren; one sister, Lisa Evans (Mark); as well as other nieces and nephews and family members.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gregory Hayes, and Monte Wayne Hayes; and two sons, Jeffrey S. Hayes Jr., and Wayne Alexander Hayes.
