Born in Kissimmee FL, she was the daughter of Deidre Van Dixon Ruiz and Francisco Ferman Ruiz . She was employed at T.G.I. Fridays as a server while occasionally selling diamonds for Zales.
She absolutely loved her family and expressed it well. She enjoyed fashion and makeup along with all things girly adding a personal touch of bling. She would spend hours enjoying the pool and sunshine. She was compassionate for animals, specifically turtles. She had a childlike heart and enjoyed playing with her nieces and nephew. She influenced their lives tremendously from teaching them how to swim to the bottom of the pool to girl talk about boyfriends.
She will be remembered for her gift encouraging others to take risks and love deeply. Her exquisite smile and diva personality will be thought of frequently. Her meekness was captivating. She will be remembered for her strength and gentle way of dealing with circumstances.
Monica is predeceased by her Father, Francisco Ferman Ruiz. She is survived by her Mother, Deidre Ruiz; 2 brothers, Ted Moyer and Sandro Ruiz; Sister in law, Courtney Moyer “CoFuNa”; 3 nieces, Athena Moyer, Azyah Moyer, Akylah Moyer, and her nephew, Ariak Moyer.
The visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Grissom Funeral Home in Kissimmee FL.
