Sheryl Simpson Hyatt

She was born in Sebring, Florida on June 26th, 1943. She graduated from Sebring High School and

received a Bachelors in English with Honors from the University of Central Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Richard H. Hyatt, her brother, Bruce L. Simpson,

and her parents, Myrl Nell Simpson and E. Lamar Simpson.

She loved books, deep political discussions, long camping trips, and entertaining. She opened her heart

and her home to everyone she met. She was creative, thoughtful, and loving. She will be greatly missed

by all those who were lucky enough to know her.

She is survived by her sister, Alice Simpson Stroppel (Charles W.) of Sebring, her nephews Bradford A.

Stroppel (fiancée – Michelle Carpenter) of Longwood and Jason S. Stroppel of Tampa, her granddaughter

Kelly Barret (Norman Glover) of Clairmont, her great-granddaughter Paige Alexis Spencer, her son and

his wife, Ryall Hyatt and Emily Hyatt of Kissimmee, and her two young granddaughters, Abilene Nell

Hyatt and Rosalie Ryan Hyatt.

Her ashes will be scattered in the woods she loved so dearly.
