William “Bill” Anthony Peters, passed away on September 10, 2014. Bill was born on December 09, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Anton and Joanne (Dembinski) Piotrowski. He served in the United States Air Force for 25 years and retired as a Major, and worked as an aeronautical maintenance officer and command pilot.
Bill is survived by three sons, William (Carol) Peters of Homestead, FL, Geoffrey (Carmella) Peters of Savannah, GA, and Gregory (Margaret) Peters of College Station, TX; two daughters, Maria (Marc) Taps of Tallahassee, FL and Paula (William) Elliott of Kennesaw, GA; 11 Grandchildren and additional family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Grissom Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10:00am, with Fr. Val officiating.
